It seems like more of a player and coach accountability problem to me. Personal opinion is there is adequate talent on the team to win. Many of the players have shown this through the years. Pace's real anchor arouthe neck has been the handling of the QB position. From The Ginger Giraffe, to Foles, to Dalton, it has been overpayment for underproduction. Add Mitch on top and it has been a calamitous failure from the FO on the QB position. How much "collaboration " was involved on the part of Nagy with the Foles and Dalton acquisitions? I suspect a lot but I'll never be able to prove it. Mack trade made sense but the value is clearly declining. Quinn signing was poor. Not bringing back Floyd on a reasonable contract was a mistake. Trevathan extension should never have happened. However the additions of Hicks and Robinson were both great for the franchise. There are definitely plenty of mistakes to point out, but the roster is certainly in a better place now than it was when Pace took over, especially now that we may have finally added the piece that has always been missing at QB. It feels to me like there is just too much "be you" and not enough "harden the fuck up" in this team. Where that culture change needs to come from, I'm not sure, but until it does I suspect we will see more of the same as Sunday night.
