To tell you the truth the name sounds familiar I just dont remember him on the court, must have been a Krause post dynasty player. Its a sad story but it goes to show you that these kids come into the league and with no guidance they can end up like this.

Here is some info on him: David Vaughn III, known as David Vaughn (born March 23, 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma), is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Orlando Magic in the 1st round (25th overall) of the 1995 NBA Draft. A 6'9" power forward-center from Memphis State University, Vaughn played in 4 NBA seasons from 1995-1999. He played for the Magic, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls and New Jersey Nets.

In his NBA career, Vaughn played in 118 games and scored a total of 341 points.

One of the top prep players in class of 1991.

At least he isn't dead. Good for him for being able to rise out of the nothingness his life turned into.
