Was pretty bad before going to NO. That is a thing of worry.

I'd take him in an instant.

Please. Then let ifedi/spriggs/massie battle it out at RT.

He was one of the best guard prospects in the last decade.

I could live with that. Massie would prob be the odd man out because of his contract.

Won't he get more than any of the other guards that were available this off-season? Which would likely put us above the cap without some maneuvering of other contracts?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him, but I don't know if its workable

Pace should be converting money right now to get this guy. I wonder if this will be a Gipson type deal. Wonder how much NO still owes this guy.

2020 Dead Cap: $5,125,0002020 Cap Savings: $7,750,000

He was averaging 8.5/yr. I'd assume he's probably still worth near that? Maybe a mill or two less. IDK if we have the cash without cutting.

We have 9 million in cap. 7 million once we sign rookies. Can get to 14-16 million by cutting CP, Shaheen, and Ben Brauk. It is a no brainer to go after him if you are pace.

Some of you guys are ready to shell out 8-10 million to a guy that was just cut by another team? The market is pretty dry in general. I’d love to sit across the negotiating table from anyone willing to make a deal like that.

Also, Pace will have better intel on Warford than any other GM because of his relationship with Loomis. I would like to see him added if there isn’t some issue we’re not privy to and the price makes sense considering the context.
