I added the Hawks Salary Cap information to IndianHeadNation which will be updated automatically. Here is the link.

You can also find it on the main page if you click the $ button next to our Facebook button.

You can sort each table according to position, with the totals at the bottom of each position. If you click the "UFA" or "RFA" tabs, it will give more information about their prior contracts. The little icon next to some of their names is their NTC and NMC information if you click them.

I've removed Dowell and Pisani considering it is highly unlikely that they will be retained.

If anyone has any better ideas for the cap page, let me know. I'll be adding contracts that do not count against the cap as well on another page (Players that have been sent down, EL deals, etc. etc.)

Looks really good.

One little nit-pick: color code UFA/RFAs different.

Excellent, especially if it automatically updates from NHLnumbers or whatever, too often I go to different sites for that info, no I don't have to.

Nice, I like the notes too that say no trade clauses and such... Maybe it's just firefox but when you click on one they seem to stick around and not want to go away though.

If I'm not mistaken they signed him to a 1 yr deal the middle of 2010, but he tore his acl and finished the season on IR. Makes him a UFA of some type, if i have my facts straight.

Most recent Firefox

Works fine on my work laptop with IE.

I'm unable to replicate the issue. Any chance I can get a screen shot? Is it just an empty space or is everything else shifted upward?

Ton,

With the CBA in the last year, is it not the case that bonus money for entry level contracts count towards the cap?

They do, the bonus is included within the players contracts. If you click the icon next to Leddy and Smith, for example, it will tell you how much of the bonus is included in their contract.

When the season starts I will prorate each contract to show how much cap space will be available during the season.

I'm told the upper limit of the 2011-12 NHL salary cap will be $64 million. The lower limit, or floor, will be $48 million.
