Very interesting read on bulls.com:

Bulls possess assets, situation to trade for Howard | THE OFFICIAL SITE OF THE CHICAGO BULLS

I wouldn´t trade Noah, Gibson and Deng for Howard. I know we would have the two best players on their position but Noah, Gibson and Deng is a bit too much to ask for. If we could keep Deng then yes, do it!

I really like the idea of bringing the captain back to Chicago. I would rather have him than Richardson, Crawford or Carter!

Dengs trade value has never been higher. Coron butler or battier can take his spot. Id rather give them boozer than Noah. And Taj is good but d12 is better...you do this deal in a heart beat.

Hinrich as a Back Up...I wouldn't be against it

Hinrich as the starting SG? HELL NO!

and I would do that Dwight Howard Deal! Howard and Boozer together and Brandon Bass is a solid back up PF and we keep Asik to back up Howard...then hopefully Nikola Mirotic comes over in a year or two and replace Boozer...as for Small Forward they would probably still have room to bring in Caron Butler or Josh Howard for a few years and hopefully Jimmy Butler can develop

If Taj is the deciding factor you throw him in.

Rose and howard are both young and dominant players but I don't see it happening.
and o wouldn't be against to gordon.

That would be a great trade for Howard, but we've heard various trades like that before. Is the FO really willing to push the envelope to get him? We'll see....it'd be awesome.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I'd do the trade and take Hinrich back, but I'm willing go guess that most people don't want Hinrich back. The hate for him that I've seen on Bulls forums over the years is astounding...

Then again, the general public liked him so I guess technically "most" people would want him back. Meh...neither thing is going to happen anyway.

Does howard even want to come here? If not this thread is moot.

I'd bring Capt. Kirk back.

Doubt this means much......but in the rumors section on ESPN.com they just posted a spot about Bulls being a true sleeper for Dwight Howard. If anyone has ESPN Insider, could you post it?

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, several league executives believe the Bulls are a sleeper for Dwight Howard via trade.

"Chicago may tell Orlando to take any two players -- or three -- besides [Derrick] Rose," one GM said, according to Wojnarowski.

He also added this: "The Bulls have Omer Asik developing fast as a potential replacement for Joakim Noah should the Bulls include Noah in a package. Noah would have to be a part of it, but would a combination of Noah and Luol Deng or Carlos Boozer -- bringing back Howard and one of those bad Orlando contracts -- be enough? The Magic need a force to replace Howard, an anchor."

Wojnarowski does note Howard "isn't keen on the cold weather" and there have been previous reports over the summer that Howard didn't have the Bulls high atop his list -- so he still may be more likely to head to the Nets, Lakers or another suitor.

Still, the Bulls would be able to put together a decent package of players for Howard should he ever warm up to the Windy City.
