I couldn't help but read some reactions from Boston's HF Boards...many are calling the Hawks lucky (as expected) with all the deflections. I don't think they realize that redirects are part of the game. It's something that's worked on in practice.

Some are saying the Hawks have been "lucky the whole playoffs"...which made me laugh.

They sure are lucky with that 13-5 record while having numerous goals waved off and calls not made in their favor.

That was a draining 5 hours or so of Hockey.

Crow kept us in that game. He was fucking amazing in overtime. Did someone mention Crawford's legacy somewhere in a thread?

Once again the 3rd/4th line show up on the score board.

It would be really nice to have Toews/Hossa/Kane/Sharp start potting regular goals.

Anybody miss Stalberg last night?

I just hope Robert Frolik and Mike Kruger keep playing at a high level.

Dan Bolland had a good game too.

Hawks were very lucky indeed. Most of the bounces went that way, but they missed their fair share of nets as well. They could have easily gave up at any time but kept plugging away till they finally got another one in. They scored the final 3 goals of the game, I'm not so sure that's pure luck.

I kinda wished we had stalberg during certain times. A couple passes that bollig just fucked up receiving that I think stalberg would have accepted better but overall not really.

Bollig played a great game

14min - 9hits, 3 shots

His hits wear down defenceman.

Not bad for an "AHL" player

(s)he was lurking all through the first period and I expected a good quip up 2 but nothing... The Hawk will win... Hopefully in 5, but I don't think they will sweep. We'll see Heim again when they win their one.

Kind of like Variatroll crying and crying..."Dear oh dear" about Bollig for 5+ pages..paragraph after paragrah claiming he's an AHL player

And he plays a helluva game...and (s)he vanishes?

Rask looked totally human, he's good but no better than Crawford. Crow's confidence is as high as it needs to be and good on him.

Pesky Marchand was really ineffective.

It won't get much easier but last night showed everything Boston has.
