Just pray to Herb. Look at your ceiling and pray to the almighty miracle on ice coach in the sky and ask him to deliver the hawks to the promised land. It worked in game 7 for boston against the nucks.

No fix needed. Herb supports, nay, encourages this behavior in the playoffs.

I do not think I will Pray to Herb tonight, however I may spend some time in comtemplation in front of one of my Herb Relics. I may also dawn the sweater that has touched the Holy Price of His chosen warriors each year.

I do think I will pray not for Hawks victory, but pray for more hockey games. Maybe He will not see through my ruse.

My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
Win or lose I want to see our boys leave nothing on the table; not a game where Strother Martin comes into the locker room and calls them all a buncha goddamned pussies.

We know our boys can play at a high level, not float, muck it up, take hits to make plays, go to the net, etc. I think if we play that way we can win. but even if we happen to lose we go down fighting hard rather than like a bunch of prima donnas.

So essentially...they have to win.

Because it seems as if they lose...it's because they don't care, try hard enough, play a full 60 minutes, take the foot of the gas, etc

He is so smiting your ass. Thanks for the loss asshole. You think he's not wise to your ruse already? You thought it therefore he knows.

After all this tearing of hair and gnashing of teeth, praying, cussing, name calling, quoting, firing various managers and/or coaches, drinking large amounts of swill, it gets down to a real simple game plan:

9 periods of hockey like the first in game 2.
