How about Q letting the Bickell injury out of the bag. Grade 2 knee injury in game 5 of Kings series.

Bickell is a trooper. Always has been.

Maybe that's why Grandpa Q only played him 10min in game 3?

I would hope the Blackhawks crowd would not need police intervention. Looks like its going to get ugly like Vancouver when they lost.

I heard chicago PD is already calling in the mounties.

Black eye for Chicago.

Of. Course. Not. That's not what I said at all, I don't even see how that could be inferred that way.

Why single him out then?

Should he have been wearing a visor?

Hoss had a slipped disk that made his leg go numb at times. Wow.

I wonder if any of our guys who will get a day with the cup have Boston connections? I'd like to see them reach out to those affected by the Marathon and let them try to heal some with the Cup.

Regardless of all my criticism of the coaching staff, there is no better coach for this team than Q. He really is the best of the bunch. He has his flaws, like any coach, but his positives outweigh his negatives. Two cups in four years....he's doing something right. This team is the most resilient bunch I've ever fucking seen. Yeah yeah...PP...ice time distribution....line combos...whatever. In the end, it didn't matter. They got the fucking job done. That fourth line he put together ICED that mother fucking cup for the Hawks.

Q has more than earned my respect. As has the entire organization, for the most part.

Crow is delicious, and Crow was snubbed for a Conn Smythe, though, Kane was not a bad choice. :D

I just **** with you a lot Pez

My fav thing with Q is he coaches the team to play fast, transition hockey and doesn't hold back his skill players - while being defensively responsible

Much better way to coach/play than the boring and try to win 2-1 games the way some do

No one's perfect....but he knows his team and players love playing for the guy. I don't think he think he's bigger than the team or the game - the way a lot of other coaches do. He may not win them all...but players play hard for him

I would like to say I was proud of TCD being on these boards

About 2 weeks ago, he took a major jizz shot to his left eye, and continued to show up and read the boards and contribute with endless posts

I know you do. I've got thick skin....so, whatever. We agree as much as we disagree to be perfectly honest.

All I care about right now is....two cups in four years. Fucking AWESOME!

There's no doubt that the majority of the players enjoy playing for him. Stalberg and Leddy might have something to say about that, but I bet their name on the cup soothes any angst they've got. :icon-biggrin:

I think Scotty hit the nail on the head with Leddy

It's more important at this time to have the Vets on the ice in these situations. He's a 22yr old kid and putting that type of pressure on him when he may not be ready, could hurt him in the long run of what should be a long career if he made a big mistake on this stage
