Love this team. Clutch as ****, no quit on this team. Unbelievable. Was fist pumping and jumping around in my little apartment early in the morning. Slept just half hour since getting up at 3 am to watch the game.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHERFUCKING STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2013.

(take note Canucks, this is how you beat the Kings and the Boston Bruins and win the SC along with the President's Trophy)

Summary of injured players from KK blogger;

Amongst the various injuries players from the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks played through during the Final:

1. Chicago coach Joel Quenneville admitted to the Canadian Press that Jonathan Toews "got his bell rung" in Game 5;

2. Quenneville stated that Michal Handzus played through an assortment of injuries [edit: Yahoo Sports' Nicholas J. Cotsonika sayshe had a broken wrist and a torn ligament in his knee], and that Bryan Bickell played through a grade 2 MCL sprain;

3. Marian Hossa, as ESPN Chicago notes, played through a pinched nerve that prevented him from feeling his right foot;

4. Andrew Shaw obviously played through a bleeding right cheek after taking a puck to the face, and Niklas Hjalmarsson disappeared and reappeared during the first period;

5. Bruins coach Claude Julien would only admit that Zdeno Chara was pretty banged-up as well....

6. But Patrice Bergeron, as ESPN Boston's Brendan Hall notes, played through a broken rib, torn rib cartilage, and he separated his shoulder in Game 6;

7. Jaromir Jagr obviously suffered some sort of significant injury during Game 6;

8. And yes, Nathan Horton played through a separated shoulder as well...Take note, teams that want to sign him, he's going to need shoulder surgery.

9. Update: lest I forget, Tyler Seguin suggested that he's got some sort of hip issue that's going to require...medical attention.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I thought they needed to be in by 10:00 left in the third.

Regardless, it doesn't really matter at this point.

I do give you credit for staying around after the cup was presented. The other Bruins fan (troll) must've fallen off a bridge.

I was in a bar in Montreal last night. Mostly people cheering for the Hawks, but there were a couple Bruins fans in there. There faces at the end were priceless. I had to go up to them and give them props for a great series. The were very gracious in defeat.

For being the PT winner and having an unreal season, the Hawks somehow get very little respect from the so called "experts". Boston looked nothing like they were hyped to be. It was a close series, but I always felt that the Hawks had one more gear while the Bruins were running at the limit the whole time. East coast bias. Look again for the Pens and the Bruins being the Cup favourites next season, with the obligatory pick of the Hawks since they just happened to be reigning champs, but only as a side note from all the gushing they will be doing about Crosby and whoever else is the flavor of the month.

If it wasn't for the bombing they would not even have made it this far, IMO. I agree they were over hyped, they are a great team, but Tukka is not all that he is craked up to be.
