Bruised ribs? They have x-ray machines at the UC, right? So if they did an x-ray and saw no broken ribs, but swelling and a lot of pain, that may be why he went to the hospital to get checked out... Makes sense? Who knows. all just rampant speculation at this point.

I bruised my bladder when I was in high school and had internal bleeding. Pissed blood for a week and a half, couldn't walk for a day, and for 3 days was just hobbling around. Could be something like that, there will just be no way for him to be even half the player he is though.

But as they say, never say never, his presence on the Bruins bench alone will be a big lift for them.

True...when there's the slightest possibility of internal bleeding, they NEVER take any chances.

For what it's worth, the first diagnosis by my Bruins "friend" was a torn ACL/MCL, so Medically speaking, he's an incredible nincompoop. The part that caught my eye was the fact that Bergeron had trouble getting into a car. Bruised/fractured ribs or herniated disks in the lumbar region seem plausible.

He is clearly hurting pretty fucking bad. I mean it takes A LOT for me to ever consider going to the hospital, being that he was taken out of the Cup Final to go means there was something very wrong.

Great player and guy but not sure what he is going to do if he is hurt as bad as it seems. Especially if things are internally that bad, it is not worth it to risk you life/well being when you are only going to be at 30% anyways.

I believe the Bruins will be looking to run our core players and thug it up. But the Hawks won't let it bother them, hopefully. We got this in 6. Herb doesn''t know Jack !!

I will be surprised if Bergeron plays his game for 3 periods which would be a game changer.

Kaner and Sharp will both have goals tonite.

i think if the hawks get through these first ten minutes without being scored on it works in their favor.

havent seen boston skate this well all series to be honest they are killing us everywhere. get the goal back to get out of this period. Boston cant keep this pace up for 60 minutes..no way.

faceoffs becoming an issue again and yikes gotts start passing the puck cleaner. Get out of this period 1-0 better yet get out 1-1. Bruins cant sustain this but Hawks need far more urgency

Hawks are lucky to just be down by 1, it was all Bruins and the Hawks was hanging on for dear life. Getting butchered in the faceoffs too. Not good at all. Lets hope they can do a comeback like the Bruins did in game 2.

Agreed in that's about as good as Boston has looked all series. And yet, a one shot game. Gotta score one anyways.

Right. But huge weak sauce call on that high stick given all of the other play.

Chara would have 40 penalty mins a game if they are going to call that

I thought both penalties were weak fucking calls

And why can Bruins jump every faceoff - all series - and never be tossed from the draw. Hawks get thrown out regularly.

Jay Sharrers better learn how to drop a fucking puck as well

When does Stalberg make this huge difference after all the tears for him not playing?

When he plays more than 7 fucking minutes a game. Better have a long hockey stick to score from the bench.
