COPD is. Stroke for some reason I didn't think you could die from? don't know why. I tried to put heart attack but I guess it's different. No idea what Nephritis is, and Alzheimer's I didn't know people died from I thought they died from conditions associated with it.

Take this braniac explaination or leave it, but digestion needs a lot of water.  After digestion and nutrient absoprtion take place, the colon's job is to pull water out of the food waste and back into the bloodstream. Thats why when you have diarrhea (sp?), fluid intake is so important--since you're shitting out so much water you have to keep replehishing water and electrolytes--you just keep shitting them out.</p>
