I saw this mock and I sorta liked it... If it turned out this way I could live with it.

What position did you want the Bears to draft on Offense and when?

OL and a WR.

For our first pick, I don't really care which direction we go in since we need players at multiple positions.. so idc if we go O or D on our first pick.

But I would like to draft and O-lineman and a WR in the first 4 rounds. Maybe even a good pass-catching TE if one is available somewhere.

Interesting... When posed with the question, "who can we draft that could start for our team" I went two ways... DE and a CB. I think, by drafting well, we could see starters at these two spots in this draft.

WR would be a tougher nut to crack because I see our starters as being Bennett and Marshall. And, unless Floyd or Blackmon drop, I don't see anyone else starting at Wr for us over Bennett.

That leaves OT... Unless Raiff or Kalil drop, an instant starter for OT will be a "lets have a try out and see". Well, the draft is pretty deep in "try it out and see" guys. If they pick one, and I feel like they do, there will be a competition Webb could lose to become the floater between each T. position. Time will tell.

Honorable mention as a possible starter found in this draft would go to LB and S.

If we are looking for guys to come in and start right away, this draft blows. Coples' middle name might as well be 'bust' with how much potential he has to flop. And Zach Brown won't start for a few years, if we are all looking for people to come in and help right away, this draft is awful.

Just my opinion. I do like Fleming out of OU though. McNutt got shut down in college to much too, but he could blossom into something better...

I'd much rather see us get an offensive player in one of the first four rounds. Coples at #19 would be a fantastic value.

I don't mind a defensive player in the first round. Coples, Mercilus, Kirkpatrick or even Jenkins would be nice.

Ultimate Quinton Coples Highlights - YouTube

What about that video impresses you? There was one play in that entire video that I found impressive.

He tackles to high, and doesn't wrap up as much as he lays his weight on people when he tackles. He thrives off broken plays and against obscure offenses...maybe it's just this video but I am not impressed.

I'm very against taking Coples at this point. His lack of effort or a motor really turns me off. The guy i really want is Andre Branch from Clemson. Watch tape of this guy. He busts his ass on every play, and has the awareness to still make an impact when he gets double-teamed, or straight up jammed. Smart player. Can't coach his intangibles. He's like the anti-Coples.

Tape:[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMGBsrBHt8Q]2011 Clemson vs Virginia Tech Football Game - YouTube[/ame]

Highlight reels give you a bloated image of a guy. Game tape gives you every play :dealwithit:

You know a guy is bad when his HIGHLIGHT tape doesn't impress you...Coples in the 3rd round...maybe. I like Branch and Mercilus are my two picks at DE. Both with high motors and intangibles.

Zach Brown has bust written all over him unless his cover skills improve because at the point of attack he cant shed a block to save his life he wont be able to rush the QB at the NFL level
