Imagine your claim to NFL fame being designing a trick play that another team used successfully after your team failed in an attempt vs that team.

That is Matt Nagy.

Bears WRs that game:
ARob with only 54 yrds
Mooney hurt/inactive
Wimms drops wide open TD pass
Miller kicked out for hitting the guy they talked to him all week about
You forgot Nagy was forced to unlock the cage on his dog house allowing Ridley onto the field.

Imagine not grasping the fundamental and only common sense thought, execution has nothing to do with the designer of the play and everything to do with the players executing said play. Pretty sure Matt nagy won coach of the year in 2018.

Probably was the best pass Mitch has ever thrown..

Quite possibly. He had some dimes against the bucs in 18. I recall a deep shot to Gabriel against the dolphins that year too that was money. But that was definitely a perfect pass to Wims. If he caught it, who knows how the game would have went. Not sure how they haven’t cut/traded Miller yet though. I would never let that bonehead take the field again

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it Nagy that designed the play for a guy with 6 receptions all season? Oh yeah, maybe designing a play and throwing to the guy on your team ranked 11th in receptions was a bad call by the coach.

Just a thought.
