Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it Nagy that designed the play for a guy with 6 receptions all season? Oh yeah, maybe designing a play and throwing to the guy on your team ranked 11th in receptions was a bad call by the coach.

Just a thought.
You don't put ur speedster or #1 receiver to sneak past a defense on a trick play that defeats the whole purpose of it being a trick or sneaky play. Wims hasn't had alot of drops or concentration issues from what I'm aware of it should of been a easy home run.

U know if Mooney played in that game, he would be getting that target right?

So why is this a negative against Nagy?
He designed the play......his team excuted it and a mediocre receiver dropped the ball.

So Nagy is dumbass for this because another team executed it??

Listen, the jury is still out on Matt Nagy but some of the hate is unreal.

Like it or not the facts are we went to playoffs 2 of 3 years under Nagy.

Hmmmmmmm

We are 0-2 in playoffs

It must suck that we keep losing in playoffs because coaches before Matt were getting us there every year and we were winning

So better than Marc Trestman is your benchmark for "hey that guy ain't that bad?" And citing a shitty 8-8 playoff team as a positive achievement? You should apply for a job at Halas Hall, you would fit right in with George and Teddy's "Just be mediocre, baby" culture.

I guess I never have taken into account the, "if's ,and's , or but's" in my critique of Nagy. How did the Bears fare in the All Excuses League WouldaCouldaShoulda Bowl this year?
