Picked up 4 for the Saints in Section 350 (best non-club available). No complaints, as I'm able to avoid the mad rush for tix tomorrow and guarantee myself a game.

We are in the upper 300's for the Chargers preseason game as well (cheapest available).

Just a heads up, the quality of seats available has deteriorated from what it was a few years ago. We always used to get media deck or better, last two years the best seats available were upper 300 endzone and upper 400s (customer rep confirmed that was what was available for the game we were looking at). Again, not complaining, but full disclosure for those waiting.

last year i went for one of the easiest tix. rams I got 2 tix section 440 row 1 during presale. I got lucky the next day and got 2 in section 106. They definetly release better tix during general sale, they are just very difficult to get. I sold those section 440 tix last year to offset the preseason tickets i had to buy. Its always a crapshoot, and I come in from philly, so not trying to pay stubhub prices

almost the exact same scenario of what happened to me last year.

any idea if it's even worth trying any more?

i got 4 tix uppers to preseason and 4 to packers in 354 but i chose not to take them. the bad location of the packers game and cost of preseason doesn't make it worth it to me.

THE QUALITY of tix available to the reg season games has diminished big time. every year i was able to get lower level sideline seats to the biggest reg. season games of the year plus 50 yr line lowers to a preseason game. i'm guessing tickets like those weren't even available to us this year. and i'm sure in each future year it will be worse and worse until barely any are available.

they stated that they wanted to use facebook for fan interactions. Not sure why, but I miss that board a bit, although there are less strict rules here.

Mostly because one dickhead decided to post a bunch of porn, kids saw it, legal threats were made. The org didn't want any liability so they made it Facebook's problem. That's my opinion anyways. Other factors too that I won't get into.

I'm sure this is a question posed each year, so a little latitude is requested, but...

Does anyone have an opinion on the best method for purchasing tickets during the general sale (internet, phone rep, automated system)? I've had varying levels of success with each in the past (scoring a pair of tix to one game), but at the same time have heard others acquiring very solid seats for multiple games.

Forum post or PM me, but was just curious.

I've never had success on the phone ( YMMV ), however, the internet has delivered at least 1 pair every year for 5+ years.
