Now that the second "half" of the season is officially underway, I think it's time to talk about THIS team going forward.

I'd really like to see the Richard Hamilton actually play instead of stealing money on the bench. If he isn't playing, promote Brewer to full time starter because he's pretty much it right now. I would like to see this team play at least 20 games fully healthy before the playoffs start, so we can see where they are. Five games isn't enough to gauge how good this team is.

One thing that is really grinding my gears is the complete disrespect that is being directed towards the Bulls. The national media is acting like the Bulls don't even exist. They are acting like Miami is running away with the East when they are only a half game ahead of the Bulls only because they have one less loss that the Bulls do while the Bulls have one MORE win than Miami and OKC.

Anyway, I hope THIS team as currently constructed can get fully healed and ready for the stretch run.

Without changing anything in the team.

Getting Howard will just make things easier and it will last longer.

The Hamilton dynamic is what I will be watching. The team to me seemed to have gotten used to playing without him. Hamilton can be a help but him going in and out of the rotation is not really helping things. If he goes in and out of the lineup through March, then we should have him come off the bench, but I doubt that would happen.

We have our team now.

I hope this team can win, I don't see it happening with the 12 guys we have right now.

Thank you!

I'm glad someone actually wants to talk about the team and not players that aren't on the team.

We need Brewer coming off the bench and I'm sick of Rip not playing. They need to get some chemistry going. I don't want them working him into the lineup down the stretch.

We've only seen these 12 guys play in only 5 games. That's hardly anything to judge by.

So no interest in talking about THIS team, just fantasies and pipe dreams?

Okay.

I think they are telling you that THIS team needs help, and THIS team ain't good enough to win a title.

They may also feel that talking about THIS team as a title team just might be a pipe dream also.

For the second half of the season, I would like to open Hamilton's sarcophagus to see if any of his remains haven't turned to dust.

I hear you on the Bulls getting screwed by the media. But you know what? I'm just fine with flying under the radar, it's less pressure for our guys. Let all the tabloids and headlines float around in LeBron's head so he can continue to choke in the clutch. I think our Bulls, completely healthy, can and will be the Eastern Conference Champions. Of course the key in that is completely healthy. If we don't have Rip though, I don't think we have enough to offset Miami. We almost knocked off Miami earlier this season, without Deng and a hobbled Rose and Hamilton, so the thought of having the squad at full force is very exciting.

I still wanna see us ditch JL3, extend James and pickup a reserve big man. But that's asking a lot.

I agree. I think this team plays better as underdogs. I also don't think the heat will play well with the bulleye on their back.

Right now the bulls just need to stay healthy.

The Bulls at complete 100% health still would have one HELL of a time beating the Miami Heat 4 out of 7 times.

If Rip Hamilton isn't back and healthy then it is more like 0% chance of beating the Heat.

Here's what I feel about THIS team...not good enough to beat the Heat for sure.

We do have a shot at it, like any other team does, but the only way to put the odds in our favor would be to add players like Howard or even guys like Iguodala who are SIGNIFICANT upgrades to what we have now and can push us over the edge to being favored over Miami. We have solid pieces, but right now, talent will win out in a 7 game series. They are too athletic and too talented at the end of the day. They still have their flaws as of now and take the opportunity to upgrade significantly, we're still the underdogs by far.

What I would like to see in the second half is a little more pick and roll between Rose and Boozer. Boozer is a good midrange shooter and could benefit from that.

To me it looked like Rose was playing pick and roll with Noah all the time!

Considering that we haven't seen what THIS team can do for extended period of time, I don't think that is a fair assessment.

They may also feel that talking about THIS team as a title team just might be a pipe dream also.
Then that's on them not having faith in this team. It's not a pipe dream to think that THIS team as currently constructed can contend and win the title.

So if I'm to understand what you guys are saying, you're saying we have absolutely NO SHOT at winning the title. Miami is guaranteed to win and no one else should even bother showing up.

It's like you guys don't even get how good this team actually is. I don't get it. So basically we need to start a re-building project and gut the team right now and hand over the title to Miami without so much as a fight? **** that.

This team can beat Miami. They are not some Juggernaut that cannot be beat. I can't go in with a woe is me, we can't beat this team, attitude. I'm 100% behind this team as is and I feel that when they are 100%, they can beat any team put in front of them, included the "oh so stacked" Miami Heat.

lebron led teams have been picked to win the NBA title for going on 6 years now and it has yet to come to fruition. So, excuse me for thinking that this team can beat them, I just liked what I saw when the Bulls played them not at full strength.

So, what if we don't get Howard? Then what? Who's going to be the next pipe dream free agent that we will have no shot to get that you guys are going to obsess over next season? I'm just saying that I would like the focus to be on THIS team, not the team that has no shot at happening. The trade deadline can't get here fast enough for me.
