Eddie Jackson looked really good in the first preseason game, and was playing very physical, which was a pleasant change from the past couple years. Just hoping he can keep that up over a full season.

They were arguably the worst secondary in the league last year. And they’re relying on rookies to help. Obviously there are exceptions, but rookie corners tend to struggle. Vildor was probably the worst starting corner in the league last year and he’s still around. Hopefully he’s improved.

I think Eberflus specialty is secondary. And that’s probably why they went heavy with the secondary early in the draft. Head coach gets his way. So I’m hopeful in that regard. And in his defense they needed the help. They were the worst Bears secondary I’ve ever seen. They got burned on big plays all year. It’s might take a year or so before it all comes together.

Eberflus’ specialty is linebacker. Williams’ speciality is DBs
