Is there any secret to getting tickets to a Bears game at Soldier Field at a reasonable price? I can't afford to pay 180 plus for nosebleeds. I would gladly sit up there, but not for that kind of money.
I will be in Chicago this weekend for the Springsteen show at Wrigley Field on Saturday night. Lifelong Bears fan (formerly posted on the CBMB as "IABearsFan23), and I plan on being a regular around here now. I've seen the Bears play twice, both times away (NY in 2010 and STL in 2008). If I could get lucky and find tickets at a decent price for this weekend, since I will be in town already, I could cross off going to a game at SF from my bucket list!
I know with tickets to concerts, there are often "ticket drops" in the day or two prior to the show where extra seats that had been held back for VIPs are released back into the market place. Is there anything like this that happens in the NFL? My other best guess at getting tix was to hope that the morning of the game, prices drop quite a bit on StubHub.
I realize that the home opener is going to make this game more pricey as well. But if anyone has any tips, either here or by PM, I would greatly appreciate it! Go Bears!
