I agree but who do we get? Or trade to make that happen. Is there a great option on the market at Center I don't think there is.

Chris Kelly wouldn't be a bad option. hes more 2 way and we probably need offensive center

Is anyone else out there not exactly jumping at the thought of Olli Jokinen joining the Blackhawks?

I know he's the only guy out there. But that doesn't mean he's a "must-sign" player.

Cheap #2 center, big body, puts up points. Probably the best option for the team if there are no trades.

Speaking of trades, Sam Gagner could be available

It could take an insane amount of cash to land Jokinen, too, considering that he's really the only good center in the UFA crop.

It's like the Brian Campbell free agency scenario all over again: above-average fish in a tiny, tiny pond.
