Sharp out 3-4 weeks

Sharpie will be ok, better to happen now then during the season. And on a side note A Dunn just sucks it had nothing to do with appendectomy. Maybe he got confused and thought he was on the Cubs. As a Cubs fan I know that most Cubs players play like they have medical issues anyway.

I'm sure Sharpie will be fine, I'm just really worried that he'll be rushed back because of lack of Center Depth.



He missed the season opener then went on a tear, so at leats we have precedent.

The season hasn't started. But last time he was out I changed my name to PatrickSharpIsInjured or PSI. How would I go about doing so?

Yea it shouldn't. But with the recent season of Adam Dunn which started with an emergency appendectomy it is just bring negative thoughts into one's head.



Also don't know why Sharp would be out 3-4 weeks, if I recall Dunn was out only 5 days.

I would think the strain of swinging a bat after having your lower adbomen cut open would be quite painful as well.

My initial reaction to hearing Sharp was going to be out 3-4 weeks was "Omg we have players getting injured and we haven't even started a game yet!?! Here we go with the injuries...." This is why my partner should never be my secretary. -.-



An appendectomy is a whole different ballgame. Thank heavens that this didn't happen during the season or else I'm sure a lot of us would be freaking out...
