Didn't read it but it reeks of dogshit. If he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.
Fields is kind of the equivalent of Hester, a ridiculous athletic talent with great vision and speed, but just like Hester could not figure out how to be a WR, Fields needs to figure out how to be a QB.
All it's going to take is a small injury to fields and his running ability will suffer, and if he hasn't figured out how to be a QB then we have a non mobile QB that can't read a D and can only throw to wide open receiver and is averaging less then 200 yards per game. That's not a recipe for success.
Right now they need to tell him to only use his running ability to buy time so he can throw the ball.. this is a huge waste of a year if he doesn't develop into an actual QB
Idt he will get this lol
His passing efficiency has only skyrocketed the last 4 games, and he still has a whole bunch of suspect pass-catching options and a line that struggles in pass pro.If he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.

I get you've decided already that you can't like fields but what you are saying is foolish. They've designed an offense to allow him to be effective and have success while he grows and the team gets better talent. It's the exact same thing Baltimore did and Lamar has grown infinitely has a passer since his rookie year. Your opinions really cannot be taken seriouslyIf he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.

Right. Can we let Fields play the game and build his confidence? He looks comfortable and confident using his athletic ability which will only help his entire game, running and passing. As he continues to develop he'll miss less throws, make better reads and thus not need to rely on his legs as much. For now though, it's opened up his personal game and the entire offense. We're the highest scoring offense in the league over the last month! Now's the time to really criticize the QB of that offense.I get you've decided already that you can't like fields but what you are saying is foolish. so it took us 60 years to find a QB and we should get rid of him to see if we can keep the streak going? smart
T13th in passing TDs while 26th in attempts on a team thats 32nd in offensive spending and has zero 1st round talent around him.If he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.

Aren’t you the Mac Jones apologist? If he can't figure out how to play the actual QB position then maybe.

His last 3 games are 120.6, 106.7 and 99.4, objectively good/great ratings. I believe he has more total TDs than any other QB in the last 4 games, 8 passing to 5 rushing. It had to sky rocket though... to start the season it couldn't get much worse.
