I'm honestly torn...

Argument for: This is the type of move that can win us a title.... if AD stays healthy. And we don't need him healthy for the next 5 years, it would just mainly need to be during the post-season. That's what happened with the Lakers... The gave up a few good young pieces for AD and they immediately won a title the next season. If the Bulls could manage to keep most of their key contributors, we'd be instant contenders with Davis.

Argument Against: Obviously, his health. He'll be 29 by next season and hasn't shown any signs of moving past his injuries. One can only assume that it'll continue as he gets older. If we give up a lot of pieces and it doesn't work out, we set ourselves back another few years.

This trade is high risk, high reward.

It's gotta at least be on the table as an option I think. 45 games of AD is good enough if most of those 45 comes in the playoffs and he helps win you a title.

Dude can't stay healthy, but he doesn't really have a recurring injury, it's a bunch of random bad luck types of injuries (land on someone's foot get a sprained ankle, weird collision causes a shoulder sprain, block a shot weird an injure finger) that you really couldn't try to prevent if you wanted to.

If you're not betting on AD for the now, that means you gotta be betting on your young guys for the future. Either way it's a risk.

The risk of not trading for him (assuming there's a practical trade available in the future), is the likelihood that they remain in that tier below the upper echelon of teams. It's not impossible they can become a great team without Davis, but it's not easy. It will likely come from the draft. Even if the Bulls shock everyone and win a title this year, this team isn't built to last if Ball and Williams remain what they are.

KD isn't exactly a durable player. Id trade every asset the Bulls had for him.

Well, there goes @RamiTheBullsFan ’s idea of playing AD next to Vuc lol
You can make it work with or without Vuce. Obviously, you give him up for AD if that's the deal breaker.

If you give up Vuce, you still need a secondary rebounder/three pt shooting big to put along next to him.

If we did a deal, it would probably look something like this (unless a 3rd team got involved)
I'd do this. Vuc will be 32, expiring, looking for his last big payday, and hasn't been an optimal fit with LaVine and DeRozan. I doubt we'll pay Coby with Ayo being much better, and Pwill hasn't shown all that much.

It's a no brainier for me but LA would have no brain to do it :ROFLMAO: More realistically it would take Vuc, Ayo, Williams, Coby, and a few 1sts for them to even pick up the phone.

I just read if they lakers miss the playoffs AD will have missed the playoffs 6/10 years. At some point it's not the players around him or the injuries.

Davis isn't a #1 guy but is someone you could put on this team and instantly become allot more dangerous (The issues inside would be solved). It's just that you can't count on him health wise. I mean he is basically guaranteed to be often hurt.

and mixing his luck with the Bulls luck, he might not ever play :ROFLMAO:
