As it seems many people have realized that the Bulls is the team with the best pieces for Orlando. Many Lakers fans are writing this rumor in twitter. And i have read some fan made articles about why the bulls should facilitate.

Noah and Taj ---> Orlando
Howard ---> Lakers
Bynum --> Bulls

I will laugh very hard if something like this happen. The Magic will get ONLY Bulls players, the Lakers will get Howard and the Bulls will get Bynum for a one year loan with the possibility of signing long term instead of Howard!!!!

As much as I'd like to see an upgrade at Center over Noah, I don't want Bynum at all. Poor attitude and bad knees. He's not worth it.

Noah and Taj for a DWIGHT HOWARD one year loan with some possibilities of pursuing a man who has changed his mind 1 million times and he may change it again to sign long term.

If you can do this. You do it without much thinking.

Rose/Hamilton/Deng/Boozer/Howard is a championship team. Not championship caliber. Championship. You don't even need Rose to be at 100% to win it.

And you will miss the next 6 championships in a heartbeat too.

If the Bulls get Howard they will have GREAT chances to win it next year. If he signs long term they will have GREAT chances for the next 6 years. If he doesn't they will have 20+ mill free cap space to get a superstar. If they get Bynum they won't even have a chance to win a championship for the next 6 years. Howard with a player like Kobe to support him is somehow unbeatable.

My only problem with having Bynum is signing to him to a 5 year extension paying him A LOT... and then having him injure his knee again. Other than that, he'd obviously be a big upgrade. If he didn't have a nasty injury history, I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't do it.

Dwight is coming off back surgery. Nothing guarantees a championship in a rental year. Especially from his diva ass.

isn't he on his last year? isn't he in the same boat as howard contract wise? we have him for a year, then he could leave or the bulls re-sign him

I'd do that trade probably. Bynum is a huuuuuuuuuuge upgrade for our frontcourt. Legit 2 way player, great size, fantastic rebounder, can actually make a decent amount of his free throws. Bynum is probably the 2nd best center in the NBA. Injuries are always an issue...but I'd still take him. However, nothing like this will be even remotely considered, so whatever.

yeah, but if a team trades for him, I'm assuming they'd want him to sign an extension.

well, the option of not signing an extension is still there, if things fall out...and the bulls want to have some cap space to sign someone in 2013

I'd do that. I mentioned that scenario in another thread regarding dwight howard. But there's no way the Bulls do it.

Why are you acting like that's even a remote possibility?

Well that depends...would it get them under the luxury tax while also continuing to sell out the UC despite whatever quality of product is put on the court? If so, then there's a chance they do it. :elephant:
