I suppose I should have added that I don't necessarily have a problem with Brouwer on the team, but Richards would be one hell of a big addition to the team -so whatever it takes to clear off enough space to land the guy would work for me -as I think it might be doable cap-wise, if a couple of pieces are moved.

It sort of comes down to Brouwer or Frolik -as they sort of have the same role on the team, so one of them is expendable -which one? I guess in that sense it doesn't entirely matter ... but, Richards... (my precious) er sorry ... damned Golum reference...

Hawks should try & land Jeff Carter in a package.

That would take some finagling with a third team. As it stands now, we're not a match financially with Philly. They will be in dump mode like we were last year if the rumors are true as to Bryzgalov's contract demands.

Taking Iago's comments as a qualifier, I'd be all for it if they could pull that off. Carter is good, and young, and right handed (unlike most of the Hawks' current top 6 forwards). :beerbang:
