LOL at your memory of the 2005 Panthers contest. The Panthers had their way with the Bears defense despite scoring three points. Steve Smith killed them for 14 catches and 169 yards. Delhomme made some dumb throws, officiating was horrid, and the Bears won. In the playoff rematch, the Panthers did the exact same thing, Smith had over 200 yards receiving and the Panthers won.
I'll be honest..didnt see that game. I only went off what I read in the stats column. Those 8 sacks stuck out.
In 2006, the Seahawks didn't have their best player (Shaun Alexander) for that Bears game. That probably hurt Seattle's offense, no?
I'm sure it did hurt their offense. The Bears still dominated Seattle though. Seattle was riddled with injuries all year and by the playoffs were pulling guys off the street to play DB for them, and they still nearly beat the Bears in the divisional round.
