Of note he was arrested for mailing obscene material across state lines. Under cover detective emailed him asking for a copy of the book since it was no longer available and sent him a $50 money order and moron mailed him a copy of the book, violating obscenity laws in either the state he or the detective was in.

No - it is. When you think of this sicko and look at your kids and know he is the type of guy you are protecting them from.

I'm an uncle 4 times over.

Dante is correct.

Irrelevant.

From Competitive Debate—Rules and Techniques

"Rule 9f. The judge must not accept ideas which are not backed by reasonable proof.

Unsupported assertions and purely emotional appeals must not be considered. The use of emotion is legitimate in driving home a point, and is to be encouraged in many instances, but the point must also be supported by evidence or logic if it is to be considered."

It is purely an emotion response. Just like when Dick Cheney was challenged on his anti-*** stances by using his daughter. It is irrelevant.

There are kids in my life, and I would destroy any person who would harm a hair on their head, and I wouldn't apologize for it. I would explain, with great aplomb and enthusiasm, how I ended that person to that persons parents, and even provide photos to drive home the point that the child they raised was a monster and I ended him.

That said, this guy should get what he deserves for what he did to those 2 kids, not for writing a book. There is nothing wrong with committing words to paper.

In sort of the same vain, if you have ever seen Kill Bill, you may have noticed the origin of O-Ren Ishii is animated. It was done in such a manner because that scene was intense, and dealt with pedophilia and such. Are you telling me that Tarantino should be imprisoned for writing that? Should the animators be jailed for drawing it?

So stuff I tell you does occasionally sink in? Good to know.

He should be jailed for stealing all his ideas, but not for the O-Ren Ishii segment.

You're on a goddamned slippery slope when a judge is saying things like "Children are not to be depicted in a harmful relationship."

You have to take emotion out of this case to look at it correctly.

Then I hope you write a book about it, so we can start a thread about whether or not it's wrong for people to buy it.
