I hope youre stuck behind a pole in terrace level for rubbing it in..... That's mean i take it back..

Haha, with my luck, I will be. I'm Section 223, Row 18.

sweet when are you picking me up?

I don't have a car.

Ya, bring derosa, stalberg, and I with.

I'll take Stalberg. :smug:

What do you mean?

Probably that tickets are disgustingly overpriced. It's really hard to justify spending a couple hundred bucks on a single game. Especially for a team that regularly disappoints.

Thats part of it, but more that there are even tickets still available for opening day.

Thats quite sad. After Yankees/Sox that should have been the next game to go. I can't believe its still available.

I remember when it was a treat to get that game.

Sad stuff.

Before i moved to TN three years ago it was nearly impossible to get opening day with 3 friends and im talking any seats. Today I can get 4 bleachers together four hours after they go on sale. Poods is right... Sad stuff...

Saw this on teh twitterz and thought it was an interesting read, although probably not worth an entire thread, so I'm posting it here.

Why The Cubs Risk Thousands Of Empty Seats This Season... And How To Fix It - Bleed Cubbie Blue

Another way to fix it is STOP dropping payroll by 15 mil and still expect the Fans to pay the most of any MLB fan there is. Another way to bring more fans in is to sign Pujols!!!!!!!!. Cub fans are tired of losing and not going to show up to see a bad team. There not the loveable losers anymore. Now they are the laughing stock of all pro sports. For the stadium to be sold out again Ricketts will have to spend the money and put a winning club on the field. If he keeps dropping payroll like he did this year and keep raising ticket prices fans will say "**** YOU" and not show up.
