You can have mine if you want it.

My condo association banned charcoal, charcoal grills, and also banned having any spare propane tanks for propane gas grills.

Because 7$ a month in insurance costs, supposedly.

Time to move.

Edit: Oklahoma Joe's combo is what I have, its too cheap of a build, but IMO an ideal design to be able to do everything you want.

Well that sucks. No one in the whole complex can BBQ a steak? That would get a for sale sign taped to the front door.

Your smoker cost just about the same as the Masterbuilt I burned up. I have a Weber for BBQ. Just want a vertical smoker to fill in next to the Weber.

I smoke things on the weber kettle but heard their weber upright smoker is gr8. Have you ever considered just building one out of bricks and wood?
You talking about the Weber Smokey Mountain? I've got one of those. It's pretty great once you get it up to temp. But obviously not as convenient as a pellet...

Only gas or propane grills allowed and only 1 tank of propane allowed, must be attached to grill at all times.

They encouraged us to snitch on our neighbors in the FAQ section.

Supposedly this stems from some fire incidents in the association along with observed damage to patios from grills.

I keep my grill in the middle of my patio, light my coal in a chimney and have no real damage to my concrete that wasn't chipping away 10 years ago.

To my knowledge, I wasn't one of the people instigating this change, but who knows.

I need my own land where no such limitations can exist unless my local govt wants to start violating the U.S. Constitution.
