Man and I was drinking the "this team could make a Super Bowl run like the Packers/Giants koolaid". Now I'm just drinking Captain and Coke...and LOTS of it.

Chip Kelly just pulled a Jim Schwartz by throwing the challenge flag I believe, therefore it won't even get reviewed

WTF so u cant challenge an un-fumbled strip? Im glad it worked out in the Bears favor but put your bets in with Vegas now for what rule gets changed in the offseason.

Edit: Oh it goes to official review.

The NFL rules on challenges / reviews are asinine.

If all turnovers are to be reviewed, why charge Philly a timeout for throwing the challenge flag? I remember dickhead Schwartz getting nailed for this as well. But why?

Hey, I'll take it. But it is stupid. If they were already reviewing it, why not say "Coach, it's under review. Pick up the flag." ?

Why should a team be penalized for throwing the challenge flag when not necessary?
