Thanks guys. Appreciate it. Just still pissed off about last nights game and i prefer Chicago instead of Anaheim and TB so just kick some ass tonight. I can see you guys pulling it out, way too much experience for Anaheim to handle.

Not even Kevin Hayes could save them?

He sure tried.

You'd think Nash, Kreider, Stepan, Brassard, Hagelin, Hayes, St. Louis, Moore would be able to score more than 2 goals per game.

Plus the Rangers blue line sucks outside of McD, Girardi and Staals scrambled brain.

We've heard from Grimson plenty already, but how would you stop the Lightning? Obviously that triplets line is out of control but is there anything else that we would need to keep an eye on should tonight go as we hope?

If you watch game 6 of TB-NYR, we beat Bishop by screening him and making him move. He is huge and he doesn't move very well. Add some pressure to their slow defense, crowd the net and you beat him. We didn't have the forwards to do it consistently but you guys do which is why you should win if it comes down to it.

The triplets are good but you stop them by being physical with them. They are easily rattled and Hayes treated Johnson like a ***** in one of the games. The blueprint to beat Tampa is being physical and clogging up the ice. Their defense isn't that good and neither is Bishop

Eh, i don't think our blueline was the problem. Yandle and Boyle were good. They are offensive dmen so they won't be rocks defensively. McD was injured and i heard Staal was too. Girardi just does weird shit with the puck and i think he is the weak link. Klein sucked bad too. Doesn't matter tho, our forwards were terrible. Hayes gets a pass imo since it was his first playoffs and i'm sure he will be better.

I will summarize my alt and say "score goals'.

That works too. It shouldn't be hard against Bishop, especially with 2 of the best players in the world

3

One must not forget about Duncan Keith. Toews and Kane are yesterdays news. We are in the era of Keith now.

Toews and Kane are obviously the stars but Keith is great and has been the player of the playoffs so far.

He is even, dare I say, elite?

TCD has been harping on this a lot but Keith is quite likely THE best player on this team. And that is in no way a swipe at Toews or Kane. Keith is just that damn good.

I am a blueliner mark. 90% of my fav hockey players ever were or are blueliners. Yes i even like the hated Chelios. He was part of the reason i was drawn to the Hawks in the first place. Him and Steve Smith were my fav Hawk pairing ever before Duncs and Brent came along. Outside of the Hawks guys like Scott Stevens gave me boners as did Lidstrom the best blueliner of my generation. Not going to get into the legends like Orr i only get to see those guys play on retro television and i wasnt close enough to the game ever to fully understand his dominance and how he changed the game. I do get it however just not to the degree that the older fan does who was around.

But yah for me a dominant blueliner trumps a dominant forward. Never hurts to have both though!!

I think Toews is the best all round hockey player in the NHL and I think Kane is the most skillful and dangerous. The fact that I can say that and still not disagree with you (that right now Keith is playing the best hockey) speaks volumes for how great Dunc has been. When they're all firing, no team can stop them.

Toews is a lazy piece of a crap and a terrible leader.

This must be why you're not allowed in the other rooms?

Probably.... I never liked Rose or Urlacher either.

In these parts thats grounds for banishment.

Guess unpopular opinions are frowned upon.

Not that you would know anything about that. :troll:
