I think this is more on coaching. I didn't see some contestet catches by them a la wth did he does.

I see open receiver with a lot of yac. Props to Mahomes for finding them but remember how the offense looked then Nagy was calling plays.

You also see a lot of those completions are not within structure of the offense but after Mahomes has bought time with his feet but yes coaching is a factor as well.

So we have our answer.

answer being Kyle Shanahan is overrated?

oooops

OUCH
The Chiefs, conversely, said they were well prepared for an overtime contingency in the postseason. Defensive lineman Chris Jones told reporters that Kansas City "talked for two weeks about new overtime rules," while safety Justin Reid said their preparation began in training camp.

"We've talked about it all year," Reid said. "We talked about it in training camp about how the rules were different in regular season versus the playoffs. Every week of the playoffs we talked about the overtime rule."

No. The extra draft pics and a top player for moving back would be lost. If you wanna build the team then all those extra draft picks the next few years is key.

You won’t have extra draft picks but you will have extra cap space ($100ish million over 3 years) and still all of your original picks + 2 extra 2nd rounders. Plenty left to build a good team especially around an upgrade at QB which you have to assume they believe Caleb Williams is if they go down this road.

You can't say, "All of the tv personalities think he is the game-changing prospect in this draft, so Poles gets a pass".
To be fair, it's not just "TV personalities." It's basically the vast majority of websites and people who do this for a living on some level: they're all saying Caleb Williams is a great QB prospect so it's not like that's for no reason. You're right though: if Poles finds a red flag or two he should have the balls to pass rather than just go with the consensus.

So long as Poles completely investigates Caleb, I am fine with whatever he does, so long as he faces the consequences be they good or bad.

No giving him 3 years of mulligan time. Let Poles earn being the GM the following year. If he earn it, he stays for 2025. If he blows it, he is gone.

That extra cap space will get used on FA's instead of draft picks to fill out the team. We wont save much.

All you have to do is pair the best QB of all time with one of the top 5 HCs of all time while playing great defense and special teams. Why do people think this is so hard?

Yes my point is it’s basically the same opportunity just a different road. One gives you more picks, one gives you more cap space, end of the day which QB does Poles project to be the best, go with him because you can build the team either way.
