Because 2 year olds get what they want when they whine dangit!
Well...frankly it looks exactly at like what they're gonna try to do. They better do better this time...Management will say its financial decisions are cloaked in basketball reasons. With Rose out until likely March, next season is a treading-water season. So instead of depth being the secondary star, the Bulls hope to add a legitimate one alongside Rose. With Hinrich, Belinelli, Radmanovic and Mohammed all signing short-term deals, the plan to clear major salary-cap space in 2014 will remain intact. That's also when Luol Deng's contract expires, Nikola Mirotic could come over from Real Madrid and Carlos Boozer likely will be a victim of the amnesty provision. Chicago Tribune
Well their recent "demands" for picks and prospects seems to indicate they don't like what we got (ie overpaid vets and bad draft picks).when did they say they dont like what we got?
far as i know they like what we got its just Howard doesnt want to come here

Teams except Houston that is, but I can see the logic as to why. I mean...why gut a good team for a player who might just bail next season anyway? Then what are you left with? In the Bulls' case, I don't think it's as big a hit because the guys we have aren't really the caliber of players that are stars. We've been saying that they're not good enough to beat the Heat anyway and getting their contracts off the books wouldn't be such a bad thing. Howard trade fits the bill pretty much exactly. You get a legit star next to Rose and have potentially then enough talent to at least be very competitive with Miami. If Howard bails anyway, then we have a LOT of cap room to rebuild with.I agree - but the market seems to be dictating what Howard's value is at the moment. Teams don't want to give up a lot of stuff for a rental. My initial point was, we can give them a cpl first rounders and a handful of players that will likely get them to the playoffs, and that might be more than any other team offers...We can simultaneously shed contracts in the process.
I reiterate, I still don't know that i love this idea...just kind of throwing it out there.
Dwight Howard talk again?
