I guess Niemi is a better goalie than Lundqvist.

He got a cup.

Lundqvist no shit reminds me of Nabokov a world beater in the regular season but playoff time just doesnt win when he needs to

Worst argument in sports when it comes to an individual player being better than another.

So Ben Eager is better than Ovechkin.

THIS.

Just like in the NFL all these fuckin' homers want to put Phillip Rivers in the HOF when he doesn't even have a ring. Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco say "get the **** in line, assface!"

I will say Trent Dilfer was the most undeserving player to ever win a professional championship.

Tampa matches-up well with the Hawks at almost every skill position.

Coaching is what will determine the winner, and we have a decisive edge in that department. The Hawks have historically become more proficient at beating playoff opponents in games 5, 6, and 7 for this reason.

Why must the Blackhawks always be woken up?

Only the Wild got jumped early because they woke us up last year and all season. We didn't take them lightly. I just feel like the Hawks best hockey only comes down with a boot on their throat. Man the margin for error is now zero, and I couldn't honestly tell you if something is wrong with our goaltender or just some bad luck. He sure seems flawed right now.

But Crawford makes a bunch of saves he shouldn't, and just keeps getting beat to the near post.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
1. We have been down 2-1 in a series before and have battled back

2. Even if we do lose Wednesday, Tampa has had a hard time closing teams out. They were up 3-0 against Montreal and needed 6 games to win the series. They were up 3-2 on the Rangers and that went to 7.

3. Toews and Kane live for these moments. I would say that at least one has a big game coming up. Crawford will also likely be better as we go down the line.

Any others?
They better because they've been fucking comatose this series.

This "insert loser who's won cup" is better than Lundquist argument is laughable. While Hank is not the best goalie to ever play the game, he is currently the best goalie in the game at the moment. Comparing him to Nabokov is an insult. Just because one player has a ring does not make him better than a player who doesn't.

Trent Dilfer is not better than Dan Marino and Cam Ward is not a better goalie than Hank. Why do people still try and make this argument? Stop derailing my thread with this bullshit.

I think the fact that the Ducks probably did tire us could bode well for the Hawks. More time removed from the Ducks and a sense of urgency should be enough to bounce back with an emphatic home victory and re-establish dominance that this will not be easy for Tampa either.
