If this was true it would have givin Cubs ALOT of money to spend next year.

That should tell you enough right there.
It's a blog. It's a free blog. It's not true.
actually that is false.
Why has no one else reported it then?
actually that is false.
How do you know?
The Red Sox struck out getting Jayson Werth, so they went out and got Carl Crawford. Last night, Ken Rosenthal reported that before they finalized a deal for Crawford, Red Sox panicked and almost had a deal in place to get Jose Bautista, which fell apart days later when they were able to sign Crawford.
I just don't believe that such a massive deal, in our media market, would only get reported by an amateur blog and not national or local media.
It was in some other media, because they get their info from the radio and Levine.
If they don't show what the source is, it's plagiarism.
- Levine said the Angels were never serious on Soriano but did not deny there was talks or interest from both parties.

How serious were discussions with the Angels regarding Alfonso Soriano and what were the details? I'm glad the Cubs didn't move him because adding Napoli as a spot starter at catcher and a fill in vs. tough lefties at first doesn't do much for me. Juan Rivera is nothing special and is always hurt. If the Angels were to pony up some prospects the deal would've made more sense... Please comment. Thanks!

I can't believe this. FIRE HENDRY!!!!

Here is there quote.
And this us from Levin's chat.
Hendry is having a great winter. Actually, one of the best of anyone in all of baseball, and that isn't just my opinion, but several baseball people have said so in the last few weeks. Alex Anthopoulos, the Blue Jays GM, may have had a better winter, but you'd be hard to find too many others.
Boston is having a better one.
Tampa Bay has arguably a horrible off-season or an excellent one. They now have 11 draft picks before the Tigers have 1.
Boston for sure.
And i do like what Tampa Bay has done, when you're owner forces you to drop payroll from $77 million to $55 million it's going to be tough, but they got tons of prospects and signed Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez for some instant bat and insurance in case their kids are not quite as ready as they believe they are.
There may be another or two more that are well argued, but i doubt it. Even so, top 5 is not a bad spot to be for a general manager just few weeks from spring training.
