Of course he is.

I am against Gasol trade for the exact same reason. He is old and soft.Boozer take the team on his shoulders and win some games.Gasol can't do this.He is a better PF from Boozer but many old players will get injured until the end of the year AND I don't trust the Lakers. Why they would have done this trade if they don't have something else in their minds? For CJ Watson? For sure he is better from every PG they have but is this the reason?

AND EXCEPT ALL THAT.IN A PERIOD THAT THE MOST DOMINANT PLAYER IN THE PLANET REQUEST A TRADE YOU ONLY FOCUS ON HOW YOU GET HIM IN YOUR TEAM.NO GASOL.NO JR SMITH.NO PRUTSISBILLA.NOTHING ELSE.

I never suggested a trade with the Lakers in the first place...These strange Bulls Lakers Gasol trade rumors never crossed my mind until I read these articles..I thought it was a joke from the get go....

If Pax is considering any kind of blockbuster trade for anyone, he should on the phone with the Orlando Magic right now making offers for Howard.

This Gasol business is ridiculous and outright silly behavior on Pax and Rose's part..

Maybe Rose is against Howard coming to the Bulls because Dwight might take away some of his attention.
Rose isn't as humble as people say...he has an ego like any other NBA star.
Rose is trippin.

If I was Derrick Rose, I would be in contact with Howard everyday.
I would be requesting to speak with Paxson 1 on 1 in his office to talk him into making it happen.

Rose has more power than he even realizes in the orginiization.
If he was Kobe, he would be demanding Pax to make the Howard deal happen.
Rose needs to speak up more, and make better requests than Gasol. :rolling:

A trade like this happening is so unlikely that it's hardly worth talking about. The Lakers would never make a trade at the risk of making a title contender even better unless they got Dwight Howard directly as apart of a deal. And, even then, it is unlikely to happen.

I agree.
This whole episode is just plain ridiculous and laughable. :rolling:

That is a strong possibility. But I don't believe it.If you end up with 0 championships(possible) what is the point of having all the attention on you? With DH12 it is sure he will end up with at least 3 championships.

With this team he can win 0-3 championships
With Gasol he can win 0-2 championships
With Howard he can end up with 3-8 championships.

He must be sure that if he is the one who closes the games then he would be the #1 in the team.Howard may don't want this trade for this reason. But what's the difference?#1 #2 if you win championships that matters most.

A couple more years without any rings while watching Miami get some may be what it takes to change Rose's way of thinking.......Its called growing pains and Rose has just a little bit more maturing to do.......
Just reading about Rose asking for the Bulls to trade for Gasol of all people right now while Dwight Howard is on the block made me laugh so hard I had tears running down my eyes.....Rose is acting silly, LoL.....I wouldn't worry about it though, Rose is still very young and will learn after more defeats...Jordan had to as well and was kind of silly too. He was against the Bulls getting Pippen....Wisdom comes with age...

But I'm not really suprised about Pax considering it. Paxson has always been kind of weird and creepy to me...

What's even more funny is the posters on this thread that are actually considering trading off our team for, for, for GASOL!
..Gasol????????, might of made sense 4 years ago. LMAO!!!!!!!

Boozer is playin just about as well as Gasol is this season.

In the words of. thechosenone, "W A K E - U P - P E O P L E" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gasol would be a huge upgrade in the PF position if we do it as a straight up trade with Boozer. But he is 33!AND SOFT!And yes Boozer is playing at a good level this season but nothing near Gasol. If the Lakers don't have something else in their minds and they want a str8 up trade only to get rid of Gasol after this summer situation then you should talk with them. But you should try to find if they are doing it for other reasons first.I don't trust them.It would have some risks but you will have a better player for the next 2 years.

I don't want to see the Lakers trading Boozer and CJ and picks for Howard after this trade.Because Boozer house is there. His family lives there. In Florida. He is neighbor with Howard.I remember hearing it or reading this somewhere. He won't have a problem to go there.

You got a point.
What if the Lakers are just trying to use Paxson as a 3rd party to get Howard.

Paxson has proven in the past on a number of situations how gullible he can be.
For example, Tyrus Thomas, Larry Hues, Kirk Hinrich, Ben Wallace, drew Gooden, Rip Hamilton, Brian Scalabrini, Luke Schencher, Janerro Pargo, Vinny Del Negro, Kyle Korver, ......he even got tricked by Pat Riley and Lebron.

I have my doubts about us getting a championship with John Paxson running things.

Gasol is more consistent and is playing better than Boozer even though the trade rumors are going on his head. If the Bulls can get Gasol and we only have to give them Boozer, CJ and a first round pick then IT'S A NO BRAINER. But if I were PaxGar I would rather get Howard because that is 6 Championships in 6 years automatic DYNASTY just don't trade Rose or Deng.

Bulls get: Gasol
Lakers get: Boozer, Watson, Brewer, first round draft pick

OR

Bulls get: Howard, Turkoglu
Magic get: Noah, Gibson, Watson, Brewer, 2 first round draft picks

I don't think anyone wants Howard to be our closer.
That's never been his role anyway....
WE NEED HIM FOR ALL HIS OTHER SKILLS.
We have a closer named derrick rose.
Rose and Howard would be a serious 1-2 punch and you know it.

Gasol or Howard?

That should be easy to answer.

And that is why he isn't coming here most likely. He stated that he wanted to be a closer. So it doesn't matter what you or I think, it's what he thinks about his talents that count.

Id go with your second suggestion.....Its pretty much a no brainer.

This whole ordeal is just a distraction to get Paxs mind off of Bringing in Howard.
I hope this bulls lakers trade rumor goes away quickly for the good of both our teams..

He needs to be talking to Orlando, not Los Angeles.....That's the bottom line.

Are you friggin kidding me? Boozer takes the team on his shoulders? He gets his ass kicked by Kris Humphries for crying out loud! Some of you are so damn delusional about the players on this team. You have to be kidding me.

And the Bulls are trying to win. And I promise you that if the trade were to be made, it will be because it was made clear to the Bulls that Howard is NOT COMING HERE!!!!!!!

Really?

No Shit Sherlock.

:clap::crazydance:

Not to mention, Rose is disinterested in Howard coming here.
And PaxGar are running the Bulls operations.

Your right it don't matter what we think....We are just fans and have no powers, only insight and suggestions...
I guess that's a good thing.
If some of the people that post on these boards had power, the Bulls might not even be an NBA team anymore. LoL

Maybe Gar Foreman creeps Howard out a little bit as well.

Again you are judging him from one game.He did it in many games this year.He is a top scoring and rebounding PF this year. And the guy is starting going hard at the rim again first time after his injury. You expect him to be the Boozer he was in Utah after this?I believe that it takes some time and he is in a good stage now.

If you promise me that they will do whatever possible to land Howard I am OK.I hope you are right. But I have a strong feeling that it is more possible our MVP,for a strange reason,is the reason why this trade won't happen. If he started to demand players and he demands Gasol when there is the biggest fish out there..What can I say?

LoL

That sounds like a conversation between Napolean Dynamite and Pedro.

That's probably all it would take.
Humble yourself Rose, just give him a call.
What's the worst that Howard can do? Say No?
He's your bro right?

But then again, what if Howard called Rose and asked him if he wanted to be a Magic?
