I think if you can trade Boozer and CJ for Gasol you do it but if this actually happens who knows. Gasol adds more of a reliable scorer than Boozer and might be able to play better with Noah than Boozer.

Could be true, could not be. It's definitely odd given the timing of Kobe's statements & then the reporting of this. The teams could be talking, which I'm sure they have been because GM's from all teams talk to each other all the time. LA is looking to trade Pau, why wouldn't they talk? One thing I know for certain about this whole thing is there's no way in the world that Derrick Rose would go to management & request for a player.

Yeah that's without a doubt. If Rose made a case for Pau Gasol, but not for Dwight, LeBron, Wade, Amare etc, I would be at a loss for words.
