Over the past week or so, SN has been releasing articles ranking the top-15 players at each position. Follow the links for more:

Point guards - Rose #5.

Shooting guards - No Bulls.

Small forwards - Deng #9.

Power forwards - Boozer #15.

Centers - Noah #7.

Some whack rankings. The only centers I would give the edge over Noah would be Dwight and Gasol though the later is really close. Brook Lopez is to weak defensively and rebounding wise to be better. Roy Hibbert was ass the entire season(worst FG% amongst starting centers at 42% and he's 7'2) and he was ass in the playoffs up until the heat series. Al Horford is a PF and Bosh can score but I believe Noah is better in every other area.

As for PG, maybe I'm just biased but the only one I think you can argue being better is Chris Paul. Though I still think he's better than him.

Rose may be lower on rankings now because he missed all of last season and people want to see what he can do before they judge on where he's ranked.

Some of those rankings are pretty ridiculous. The dude has players ranked too high and too low all over the place.

Agree on Noah. I have him and Gasol as 2a and 2b, and while I'll give Howard the top spot, from the neck up, Noah's got superman beat cold.

NAME 9 SMALL FOWARDS BETTER THAN DENG HE SHOULD BE TOP 3

I aggre that Noah is top 5 at least but no way Deng is top 3.
James, Durant, Carmelo. There you go, he's already out of the top 3. Then there's George, Kawhi Leonard and Iguodala.
Already mentioned 6. Gallinari, *** and Pierce are also as good as Deng if not better.
Don't get me wrong, I like Deng. BUT HE IS NOT TOP 3

Deng is top 3. Go ahead and believe it but we both know it's not true.
He's top 8 at best.

soo that is ur proof.......

Deng has been a Bull since 2004. You like him and I get it because I like him too. I mean, it's hard not to when he's been around for so many years.
But let's not overate him just because he's a Bull. Yes, Deng is an elite defender and yes, he's been very consistent over the years.
That doesn't make him better than Melo. If you want to believe Deng is better, it's fine by me but numbers prove otherwise.

You say George has only had one good season and you're right.
Still, right now, when we compare Deng with Paul, George is the better player and you know why?
Because when you rank players by position what matters most is the player's last season.
Jimmy Butler has also had only one good season, yet we all think he's the next big thing.(me included)

I skimmed by the PG ranking because Rose missed all of last year (personally I think he's the best PG in the league and I would argue that all day everyday) but once I saw Noah was 7th, I didn't both reading the rest. What a joke.

The rankings still leave no doubt what is missing on this team.

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony are modern day NBA 4-men. Despite that, Luol Deng is not a top 5 SF. Durant, George, Iguodala, and *** are all better. Gallinari, Pierce, and Leonard are still right there.

Carmelo Anthony is the most overrated player in NBA history.

There I said it. Would I take him on the Bulls? Only if he is willing to play a less selfish style of ball and bust his ass defensively, which neither of the two is possible.

I'd rather have Deng at 14m/year than Carmelo at 21m/year. Melo would rank higher as a player, but I, personally, don't like the fit. Heck, I don't even think Melo is worth 21m. But hey, that's Dolan logic.
