Vitters has been a surprise. He's not doing too bad and he has taken walks too. In which he did not do in the minors. Rizzo has played well too.

Sveum likes his bench with Blake DeWitt, Reed Johnson and Jeff Baker. There appears to be one spot open and one candidate is Joe Mather, who can play the corners, the outfield and has power.

That kind of stuck out to me. Sounds like they want to let Cardenas get more time in AAA

I have a feeling Brett Jackosn will be up sooner than we may think. Just like when Castro was called up. Same goes with Anthony Rizzo.
