For the love of humanity let this end tonight!! As a franchise the story line needs this ending tonight. This is also all i need as a Hawks fan to be completely fulfilled even if i am not there live to see them lift a cup on home ice. As a fan i wont need to see another Hawks cup in my lifetime as 3 with one on home ice cements it all.

Yup...i am considering ending it all if the hawks win tonight. Retiring my own fan jersey and becoming a half ass hawks fan. Think its time after 30 + years to move on. Time to bring my dynamic fandom to a different team. Bother a different fan base with my bullshit and to allow the Hawks the challenge of going forward without me. Leafs need my help.

So yah this game is as much about the Hawks as it is about me. But they need to do this on home ice or else im sticking around until they do.

I'm with you 90%!!!

I only started watching the Hawks in like 2009 and will have seen so many cups in so few years as a diehard bandwagon fan that I think anything less than a Cup every 2 years on average won't be good enough for me.

With over 30% of the CAP in two guys, I'm just not sure it's sustainable. I'm not gonna be a Lightning fan or anything like that, think i'll still be a Hawks fan but may need to get into whatever team has the best modern-day agitator, or the team that gets me the most pumped up with fights. Any good recommendations there?

Lmao

I think buffalo might be a fun team to turn to. Im def heading east as i have been a western conference fan too long now. Time to pay more respect to the east for me. I dont know about the best aggitator thats something that grimson would know better than myself. But out of need i would recommend a team like buffalo or islanders esp if you want to follow younger rosters go through the dusty trails. Im leaning towards the Leafs myself just because its time for a Canadian to support a Canadian team and no way im going Habs or sens and the Leafs make me laugh...so entertaining. May pick Buffalo though so i can say pat lafontain was the best american born player ever and not kane

I know you're fucking new around here, fancy pants. But Xavier McPrawn is one of the better posters on this site.

In fact I've never heard him once threaten to kill another poster OR hope another poster(s) gets struck by lightning at the parade on Wednesday.

There are enough trolls like tribar and rush on this forum, we don't need you to be another.

I like the Buffalo idea. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR WINGS!

Plus, they got that sort of blue collar atmosphere too that I think will be a nice change of pace. I'll ask Grim who their best fighters are and check out the Youtube clips for that stuff. Gets me pumped.

I like the Leaves, they have the best uniforms next to the Hawks IMO. If I was going to go Canadian, I'd be all over that option.


Here's to hoping the Hawks continue to dominate though, it took me FOREVER to master my knowledge of their heritage and learn all of the players' names so I don't want to have to start all over, just wish they'd get some players that can mix it up a bit and not be imposters like Bickell, too old like Carcillo and too undersized like Shaw (even though I love me some Shaw) ONe thing that keeps me overlooking that aggressive style being missing is Tuevo. He's rising star, and a FINN like me!!! Hope they can hang on to him and see him become the next big NHL superstar!!!!

Once upon a time there was some sort of charity dance off that some guess participated in. One of these guys was the super srs Fred Hoiberg, the new coach of the Chicago Bulls.
