Bishop really showed some Mike Smith type qualities when he acted like there was goalie interference. He had no chance on that shot.

I agree. I usually support Crawford but those were a couple of weak goals he let in. Really sucks because he was sooo good in game. Sharp is a dumbass. How could you do that. Two extremely bad mistake who should be done by rookies and not a veteran player with 2 cups. But we still now. We need a bounce back game at home. Also really depends if bishop plays. He has been great on the road.

THere were brain farts by a lot of guys tonight. Crawford, Toews, Kane, Hossa, Saad, Sharp (who indeed have an epic one) all had some good sized brain farts. Hossa to a lesser extent as he was fairly good besides that dumb ass puck ragging he did on the penalty kill which may actually could have lead to Tampas 4th goal if one wants to actually dig deep into that. Next time he rags the puck he should dump it in instead of skating it back into the Hawks defensive zone. Although the puck did get cleared again it was an ugly play and ruined the flow of the PK. But Sharp was a fucking idiot as soon as he came out of the box after his first penalty (which was a shit call by the way).

Wasn't the best team game played by the top forward talent so I am actually surprised they only lost by 1. Little bit of composure was lacking at moments esp by Toews. He over frustrated himself again and it brought down his line a little. Saad played scared hockey again and Kane had no flow. That line was dreadfull tonight.

Thought Duncs and Seabs were great. Seabs maybe a bit slow on TJ's goal. The one everyone is bitching about blaming Craw on. Seabs was in plenty enough time and space (as Eddie likes to annoyingly say) to lift TJ's stick. But it's a game of inches and seconds soooooo can't really be to picky.

Have nothing negative to say about the other guys. Cumisky made a **** up that rookie blueliners make so I expect that to happen. Its Cumisky. Lucky he hasn't fucked up more.

moving on the game 3.

P.S. Hedman is a great talented blueliner. Hes just getting better and better.

So what's everyone's guesses on what Bishop's problem was?

I'm saying either the runs or the stomach flu.

Sharps penalties are not the reason the Hawks lost.

I hope you're kidding. Back to back penalties in crunch time with the second yielding the game winning goal... Hell, he almost turned it over right in front of Crawford before the high sticking penalty. Sharp had an extremely rough 3rd period...

I admit I laughed at that entire series of events when he came charging out of the penalty box. Was like watching someone try way to hard to be cool then fail. Much like Grimson.

I will also admit that the first tripping penalty called on him was complete shit but meh..what goes around comes around. Hawks have had their fair share of shit calls go their way also and will get many more.

Besides the third, which one was soft?

The deflection that beat him short side. it was going a couple feet wide and he just stands there leaving a gaping hole between him and the right post. Killorn's lucky goal would have been stopped in game 1 if he hadn't lost focus, too.

When an opposing player is the only person between the puck and you, you can't be that nonchalant.

I know, they're deflections and everyone gives a free pass on deflections. We've seen Corey stop them before though. When he's focused and on, he makes most saves look routine because he's always in the right position.

Those two might should have just bounced off his pad leading to nothing more than a couple "oohs" and "aahs" from Emrick and Pierre.

Anyway, on to game 3. Love our chances on home ice where Q can fully control the match ups. Cooper backtracked on his "I'm not a matchup guy" claptrap from before game 1.

Nice win for Tampa Sharp..Kane invisible...Toews 1 assist?..Who the **** said this was going to be a cakewalk against Tampa, fastest team in the league and opportunistic as ****?

You misspelled "the troll twins"...

That said, I still think Hawks in 6 at the very max. Philly tied the Hawks 2-2, Boston stole home ice and led 2-1.

This is nothing. Hawks just stole home ice and nearly a 2-0 series lead on the road. Tampa fans should be the ones panicking.

This loss was no surprise.

If that was their best effort, Tampa may not win another game.

:hawkbang:

Can I get an Amen? Tampa beat Det 5-1, MTL 6-2, and NY 6-2 in game 2 of all of those series.

I think they now realize they've stepped up in class.

So did bishop shit his pants? Which developed into a rash causing a 2nd exit?
