This has the potential to be the best week of my life. Game 5 victory on Sunday, a Tom Petty concert last night and maybe a Stanley Cup by Friday at the latest. Please do not make me wait until Friday for this, do it tonight please.

shit, i tried to get some shut eye before the game at 3am here, but i just couldn't, just tossed and turned, too excited and nervous about the game. now i need to find some time to kill before the game. might watch a couple of movies.



and yes, i might have to pop a bottle of champagne if (when) the hawks lift the cup.

Damn, 3 hours until puck drop and I can't take it much longer. I'm stuck at work for 45 more minutes and I can't even think straight. I'm not sure if I'm even safe to drive home, my mind WILL NOT be on watching the road!



P.S. Avoid Golf Rd. or Barrington Rd. if your in the area, I'm coming through!!!

Was just thinking that too. It's 10.05 pm here and struggling to stay awake for another 3 hours till the puck drops, knew I should have gone to bed when I got in from work

I will be watching this game with my grandfather. If the Hawks are to win tonight, I want to share this moment with him. He's been a fan since the mid-1940s, so he goes back to the Bentley Brothers and Bill Mosienko. Without him and his trip as a teenager to see a game at the Stadium, in which John Mariucci was all ready fighting someone when he arrived, neither me nor my dad would've been introduced to the game and become Hawk fans.



I really hope they win.

Hawks need to get the penalties under control. Great first period but we go in tied for a penalty Sopel didn't need to take. Frustrating!

I don't think the hawks need to change anything, the refs hopefully will slow down on the calls. What a joke though, it was a great first bit of a game and they ruined it with calls. I'm gonna even say the Philly calls against them...the first one, fine..but the second one on pronger was pretty weak compared to what they let him away with all playoffs. That would kill me as a player, be somewhat consistent.



Hopefully we can get back to the furious pace that started the first.
