Just got home from seeing it. Want spoilers? It's a very predictable movie.

Don't want spoilers just curious if you thought it was amazing, pretty good, ok. Eh, not great, bad or totally unwatchable.

I went to opening night on I, II, & maybe III (not sure about that one) and was hugely disappointed. I'm keeping my expectations low on this one hoping I won't get Jar-Jarred.

I'm the wrong person to ask, as I think Star Wars stuff is kind of meh. I loved the original 3, but that's it. And Abrams basically did everything shy of a remake of the first movies but with new names mixed in, costumes, and really, it will be entertaining for a fan.

Hell, IMDB had it at a 9.2 rating with 6000 votes BEFORE ALL EARLY SCREENINGS! No matter what someone like me thinks about it, it's going to be blasphemous to say anything but.. OMG so awesome bro! hype hype hype... and talk like that.

And it will make shitloads of money regardless.

I think they are making back their investment and cost for everything, including the purchase of the Star Wars assets from Lucas, by January. Which is insanity. Oh well, that part doesn't bother me. And FWIW, they did honor the franchise by sticking with most traditions. A lot of reboots or continuations of franchises don't even get that respect now.

opens up in 5 hours here.. and its sold the phuc out everywhere...

No thanks. I'll wait until February and the lesser chance that I won't be sitting in front of a hyper seat kicking 9 year old and it's inattentive parent.

Now get off my lawn.

Disney will easily cover their Star Wars investment. They're building a new area in their theme park called Star Wars Land. They've got at least 3 more movies which should generate at least $4 billion worldwide. Then memorabilia + past movie rights. All the spin offs which are coming.

This is a cash cow for Disney.

It's gonna suck bro... its just a cash cow bro, all movies ever made since Ghost Busters have all sucked, everything sucks.

Movies and Music have not been good since the mid 1980s when I used to be cool, now everything sucks.... And I thought everything sucked before all the current movie-music cynics thought it all sucked, im like an OG move-music cynic bro.

Your responses are fascinating. I still believe you live in the Matrix.
