Just got back. Movie was awesome. As good as the originals IMO.

Yeah, it's not like Shawshank Redemption great... It's just a super fun movie if you're into this type of movie. I'll definitely see it again. Also, one of the rare movies I enjoyed in 3D.

Yeah, it's not like Shawshank Redemption great... It's just a super fun movie if you're into this type of movie. I'll definitely see it again. Also, one of the rare movies I enjoyed in 3D.

It was a safe, vanilla introduction by Disney.
I think they were overly concerned with making a film unlike I-III, and got that correct.
It was basically Episode IV, but repackaged. There are a few glaring plot holes that I wouldn't mind discussing if we had a thread that included spoilers.
The one thing that stood out was that I don't know what to say about JJ. After seeing the film I cannot tell you what his style is-- meaning I can't give you any examples of why this film has his signature on it as a director. Nothing screamed JJ, and maybe that's a good thing.

You can make a discussion thread for the movie, just put SPOILERS in the thread title or something to that affect.
