Just because he didn't speak the greatest English doesn't mean he didn't write this. He could have written the whole thing in Spanish and then had it translated and formatted grammatically to makes sense to English speakers

He actually speaks English well. I wasn't bullshitting when I said he taught Junior Lake. But, I totally get your post and agree. This was from the heart. Its crazy people just don't take it for what it is and not try to dissect it.

I don't think Castro even wrote the rough draft for that. I have to wonder if he even read it?

It was well done though.
I dont think most players actually write these pieces themselves. . They probably read it or have it read to them afterwards and approve it but i dont think most actually do the writing . That most likely done by someone that on the Agent payroll.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
Castro likely talked about his feelings and experiences in Chicago and now NY to a writer, who then put all his comments in a well-written piece. It isn't hard to understand that. I used to do that as part of my job 20-25 years ago. Who cares who wrote it, if those are Castro's thoughts?
