I agree with SERE. As good as Jimmy Fallon is, and as good as Kimmel is, I really think Colbert will rule late night.

Jimmy Fallon thinks he's funny so Jimmy has that going for him.

This is just a ploy by Ben and Jerrys to hype the feud

I know it's subjective, but idk how anyone dislikes Colbert. He's hilarious.

I think it is a great choice to replace Letterman. For those who are worried about him being too political for a late night talk show, remember his current shows format is geared towards political satire. I'm sure his monologues will have some political tones to it, but what makes Colbert so good is he jokes on both republicans and democrats. Granted if you watch him enough you can tell he favors the democrats more, but when he does his interviews he will take the opposing view which I feel makes for a great interview. I think it is going to be a great show.

Colbert plays a character on his show which is purely satirical in nature, which he clarified already that he will not be playing said character so I think it's a great choice. He has a great following already and with the audience the late show already has I think he will be on top not long after he starts.

Letterman stopped being even remotely funny or entertaining about 20 years ago. They could replace him with anyone other than Dennis Miller and I might consider checking it out.
