then go on WebMD yourself and do the research. Dont ask someone who doesnt have a clue. Sorry but things like this irk me. Id rather be misdiagnosed by a professional than an sports fan on the CPU, no offense to anyone.

What's the difference between the 2 wrongs? LOL
Other than the co-pay that the insurance companies get, and the fee the Doctors get from the insurance companies.

BTW, I was an active combat lifesaver--like a back-up medic--while I was in the army. You realize that some people here do have experience treating illness, and as far as we know, someone may very well be a Doctor, nurse, PA, NP ect, but they may not reveal that information due to potential liabilities.

Shit you can go to your local pharmacist and ask some questions. Sure anyone's free to come here and ask questions but i think its a waste of time. Go to a board where people are more knowledgeable on the subject.

Not a bad idea. Sorry AT23. I just disagree with you on this subject. But if you suggested going to a pharmacist in the first place, that would have been a good call.

Just after reading this post...
When I have questions about subjects I have little to no knowledge of, I typically come here first...if no one answers my questions at a satisfactory level in my opinion, I try elsewhere. Reasons are by and large for accessibility. Several of us are on here every day, might as well see what others think of the subject.

No harm, no foul?

No doubt about it.

I want to go to Airborne school as well, but my Training NCO is a dick. He says me wanting to become a better Soldier isn't a good enough reason for him to get me a slot. Fucking E-6's, I swear...

You'll get your time, as long as you make the most of every opportunity.

In the first week at my first unit, I shot top gun, and perfect at a M203 qual, also in the midst of a monsoon(I was super lucky on timing). Nobody came close to a perfect score because of the rain other than me, and then I shot top gun again with the M4, got EIB then iron miked, and I was pushed into Air Assault school. After that, I had first dibs on anything.

The key isn't about the Training room NCOIC, but the amount of time your 1SG actually schedules for merit-able activities. Some 1SGs and COs are all about field training, and some are all about getting everyone qualified. If you have a garrison commander, then you're fucked.

Also, the most relaxed guy in your company (by stereotype) will be the XO. So kiss his ass hardcore, and become friends with him. He's usually the guy who works with the Schools NCOs when it comes to out of unit training.

Wow, that's pretty impressive.

That might actually work out pretty well in my favor. We currently don't have an XO, as he was called up to Battalion. However, the 2LT in line for the XO's job happens to be a good friend of mine.
