It is a very sad day. Many tears being shed over the loss of such a wonderful man. T Bird was such a great human....it's just not fair! Damn it!!!

Waiting to hear when the service will be as I am sure many of us will be attending.

God....this is heartbreaking.....it hurts so bad.

Me, I'm OK. Just started my 3rd week of radiation. I have 7 total weeks and the last week is 5 boosts.

I was very upbeat until we got the news of Tom's passing about 10 minutes before I left for my radiation. Walking into the Cancer center was very hard today. I have met so many wonderful people that are fighting this son of a ***** disease, and today as I spent time with them I looked around and wondered ...who's next?

I will hurt and morn for Tom with the rest of you & hope to see many of you at the service.

The best way to honour Tbird is to fight and beat that ****** cancer.

Greetings all!

Thought I would update you on my progress since it has changed.

Treatment has been a piece of cake up to a week and a half ago, since then the side effects have set in.

By this time I figured I would be glowing in the dark, or should I say my boob would be. I have had radiation and X-rays so much in the past 5 weeks that I think it is just a matter of time. LOL I also have a habit of whipping my top open to show my boob...LOL So many Drs. and nurses and staff and their mother's and neighbors and everybody else on planet earth want to check it...I'm surprised it doesn't have it's own Facebook page by now!
<

I'm very tired all the time now and letting it take me over in the afternoon. Luckily this will not last much longer. YEA!!!!!!!!

Radiation burns started about 2 weeks ago. Not bad at first but have a few areas that are open wounds now and very, very painful. The rest of the area is like a sunburn from hell. Can't really be out in the heat, it just makes things worse. I try to stay positive and think of how good my boob will look after it is all healed...as it is going through a somewhat chemical peel...LOL

I have 1 week of boost treatments and 1 week of regular radiation left.

All in all.....piece of cake.

Oh....and **** Cancer.

Any time you wanna show me you milk wagons, I will gladly look. But ask Mary, I do sometimes lunge. It is a habit I am trying to break.

YOU are the one who said: ".I'm surprised it doesn't have it's own Facebook page by now!"

An important part of any cancer patient's success is their support team. Yours is going more public.

Stu, my new Skechers came today and I immediately thought of you. I will think of you and all the other women who have had breast cancer whenever I wear them. Sorry the picture is so big. I couldn't get it to resize.

SO glad to read your treatment is going well Stu though I am of course sorry that you've started having to deal with the nasty physical side effects of kicking cancer's evil ass! As before you continue to have the commendable of attitudes and it sounds like your support system of family, friends, and medical peeps are all continuing to bust hump to get you and your boobies better, LOL.

Keep fighting the good fight woman.
