Could have been a copy I suppose? It was purchased by the Field Museum at auction directly after the dispute of ownership was settled and has never been displayed anywhere else that I'm aware of.
Edit: Just found an article, apparently the one in Omaha is a casting the Field Museum made for them:
Well, not really a T. rex, but a fully articulated, life-sized skeleton, cast from the bones of the largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered.
The exhibition, which includes 10 “interactives,” a pair of short films and a cast of Sue’s skull that can be touched, was created by Chicago’s Field Museum, which owns the real Sue skeleton and has done extensive research on it, unearthing discoveries that shine a new light on T. rex.
