I didn't want to make too much fun of it because I was afraid of who took the shot :)

She didn't take ANY of the three pictures above and I will never once mention the picture she ruined again. I promised. Above is fine.

Turns out that pissed off the NHL actually.

I'd rather see you "lift" the cup than that no talent ass bag, but it would be interesting to find how he got on the ice, and what kind of reasons the NHL was upset at him for photo-hogging a moment that belonged to the boys in the Indian Head.

I lifted my two year old, Sam (30+ lbs) over my head, so now I know what it feels like to hoist the Cup.

My day is made.

He cut in front of Frolik to get it, and just kept going up to media saying, "Un-freakin-believable". He's not even good at media whoring.

I bawled Joe Yerdon out for not grabbing a stick and breaking it over his head. On the bright side, maybe the NHL will crack down a little harder on who gets on the ice.

They've cracked down on who gets it OFF the ice as well. They don't let that thing out of their sight.

I don't mind one bit. The players won it they can do what they want with it. If they want someone to hoist it, it's their choice.

That ass just did it with zero permission.

What kind of self-centered asshole would even think of doing that?!?!? What the **** goes through your mind when you first think "Hmmm, I'm gonna step out on the ice and lift the Cup, right in the middle of all the players celebrating".

He had permission, in the way of an on-ice pass. The players were probably all too busy celebrating to see Baloosh horn his way in there. Maybe the Bruins gave him one of their passes, just to troll the entire city of Chicago.

In which case, well done.

Having permission to be on the ice and doing what he did with the Cup are two different things. But I agree if they didn't allow him out there it wouldn't have happened.

I seriously doubt it will happen in the future. Lesson learned.

FROM THE ESPN ARTICLE:

Ron Kelly is heading into his 16th year as a Chicago Blackhawks season ticketholder.

Standing in the back room of Imperial Pizza as workers shredded giant tubs of mozzarella cheese and Kane and his entourage sampled some of the familiar pies, Kelly talked about the nights he and 3,000 hardy souls were all that bothered to wander into the cavernous United Center.

Now, the Blackhawks sell out every game, the team's contests are on television and a championship is always a possibility. Apart from the rising ticket costs, Kelly jokes, what's not to like?

Kane is a big part of that renaissance.

Since Kane's arrival, Kelly has become good friends with the family. It's why he made the nine-hour drive to share Kane's day with the Cup, as he did three years ago.

"If they asked me to break down a brick wall, I'd probably do it," he said.

He wonders how he might have reacted as a man in his early 20s with all that Kane has.

"I didn't have 400 girls chasing me down the street," he said.

"He's learning on the job."
