I'd trust Tom Brady to get me ~50 yards in 32 seconds with two TOs.

That said, Belichick forced Carrolll to make a move and Carroll lost it.

To add, I was shocked the Patriots didn't let them score. I thought that would have been the smart play on first down and then left them with 1+ minutes to get a FG for OT.
